Stepping Into Sisterhood Organization strives to serve it's community on the daily basis with annual festivities. Such as: 

- Eunice K. Bradshaw Scholarship Award 

- All the Smoke: Motor City Step Competition

- Stepping Into Service: Social Impact Project

Mission

In solution to decreasing income inequality and unequal access to educational opportunities amongst young adults and women. SIS was created for the purpose of teaching and nurturing teens. With the aim to help youth gain sisterhood/brotherhood, strengthen their success skills, and get exposure to their future endeavors in life.

 

Our mission is to help young adults achieve economic security, independence, and success.

Vision

Together through hands-on social projects and involvement within the community, we give back to all walks of life. We strive to not only become better individuals, but to create a better life for everyone. Our vision is to produce young women, allowing their actions to be explosive, blowing away individual minds with how impressive they are.

Services

Stepping Into Sisterhood Organization offers a variety of ways on how you or your child could get involved. We enjoy partnerships & collaborations, feel free to ask us to come to you. 

Stepping Into Service

This initiative was started to show youth that no matter the issue or the size of the problem, anyone is capable of making a difference. Together we identify relevant issues that effect us directly or those around us. Then we create a PBL Project  that allows them to showcase all their work by the end of their time together. 
 
This project closely aligns with the program values: Resilience, Auspicious and Perseverance.
 
Resilience - the capacity to recover quickly from difficulties; toughness.
​
The community and the people that call it home can recover from any issue going on with the help of you. 
 
Auspicious - Conductive to success; favorable. Giving or being a sign of future success.
​
Anything you put your mind and heart to can succeed. If you believe that this will work then it shall. 
​
Perseverance - persistent in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success.  
​
Teaching them to see to the end. No matter the challenges that come about, showing them how to finish what they start. 
 
These values and this project, together goes to show that there is no challenge in life that you cannot overcome nor help to solve.
