Growing up, I was the eldest of seven siblings. In which, always left me in a position to have to be the first to experience things on my own. When I wasn't guiding and teaching my own sisters, I was wishing that I had one such as myself. Whether it was to give advice, to lean on for support or to simply be there. Being the oldest of seven has shaped the woman I am today and my ability to persevere through every obstacle that has came forth. It wasn't until graduating college, becoming a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and having my first child that I realized I wanted to be more than just a teacher. I didn't want to be famous, but I did want to be legendary. I realized I wanted to create something that offered young girls and women those very things I found myself needing on my journey towards success. Success, not meaning a final destination rather the ability of conquering each goal that I set out to achieve for the rest of my life.

The foundational ingredient that was always needed and that fueled me on my lowest days was sisterhood. I created Sisters In Success Co. for women of all ages so that they may have a sense of belonging in an inclusive environment. Then Stepping Into Sisterhood Organization to offer every young girl a sister.
